Habitat Newsletter

Meet Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity.

April 2024

Habitat Friends,

Jake Crist here, Repairs Program Manager, with some updates from Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity.

As we're in the midst of Idaho Gives, I want to take a moment to highlight our Repairs Program, which is the focus of this month's newsletter. Through Idaho Gives, we're raising funds to support initiatives like our Aging in Place program. As the program grows, we're emphasizing smaller projects such as handrail installations, grab bars, smoke detectors, and accessibility ramps, all aimed at ensuring more individuals can safely and comfortably remain in their homes. Collaborating with healthcare professionals is instrumental in identifying those most in need of assistance.
